You can also barbeque, relax in a hammock, swim, walk for miles on the beach in either direction, enjoy the area attractions or do nothing.

You can explore Mayan ruins, botanical gardens, swim with dolphins, go sailing or play golf on several championship golf courses. You rise to a spectacular sunrise, spend your day walking the beach, snorkeling, sailing, touring, swimming in the ocean or just sitting back and relaxing. After a day of fun in the sun you can enjoy an evening dinner at a peaceful restaurant in Puerto Morelos or the exciting nightlife in Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

Beach Front

Walking from Casa Manalou you can walk the beach for miles in either direction. To the right a nice walk is to walk into the town of Puerto Morelos, have a drink or something to eat at one of the many restaurants and then to walk back. Wearing a hat, particularly in the midday sun is recommended.

From Casa Manalou going left you can walk around the peninsula to an area with hundreds of sea shells (the story is that they were washed up during a storm). If you continue to walk you will come upon a large scuba diving outfit, an Italian Resort and then a Canadian resort where you might want to stop for a bite or a drink before walking back.

You can go snorkeling on your own right in front of Casa Manalou the reef is about 200 yards offshore making an easy swim. However unless you are experienced with the reef we suggest that you go out with one of the tours with experienced guides in the town of Puerto Morelos. You can take a two-hour snorkeling tour of the Palancar reef for around $20 USD. There are several snorkel/dive shops located in Puerto Morelos.

Diner, just 10 minutes driving right to downtown Puerto Morelos you can find Sea Food Restaurant Pelicanos, La Suegra de John Greys and some other small variety Restaurant.

Location

Casa Manalou is situated in a private residential beach area in the suburb of Puerto Morelos a tranquil fishing village about 15 minutes from Cancun Airport and a little over 20 minutes to the heart of Cancun or Playa del Carmen resort areas close to shopping, dinning, dancing and much more.

The highway from Cancun to Tulum is a four lane paved highway, making the drive quick and comfortable. It is recommended that you rent a car prior to coming having it ready for you at the airport as that makes it much easier to get around.
